In every individual are deposits of ingredients necessary to excel in any endeavour of life. Many of us short change ourselves due to ignorance of this fact. It is true that some individuals are more talented and gifted than others, but it is also true that talent is never enough.
The greatest minds ever didn’t attain the height of influence and relevance solely on talents; rather they surrounded themselves with individuals of like minds. A good example is Henry Ford who got out of the bondage of poverty and ignorance by associating with someone like Thomas Edison, a man of influence during his time.
One of the greatest gifts in every individual is the inner craving for association. Human beings are naturally drawn towards people they can identify with, especially in the area of thinking. The real question is; Are you a negative oriented person or a positive oriented person? This question goes a long way to determine whether you are progressing towards the part of influence or you are remaining on the pedestal of irrelevance.
